I am paying £880 3pFT with Adrain Flux. Tried putting my Mum on as a named driver, but it didn't lower the quote at all.

I'm 22 years old and the car is a 95 VR6

(2 years NCB)

Got a qoute from Brentacre cheapest so far £1080 when i get my 2nd NCD thats tpft on 1990 1.8 16v kr with under12k per year ,with any mods allowed, but limited to engine mods to a point, thats not too bad considering i'm 21 and all the other qoutes i've had are in the 1700 region for tpft with strictly no mods! good service from Brentacre from what i'vee heard, they get my recommendation anyway :D

490 fully comp with 4 years NCB - that was with adrian flux. Gonna shift over to Tesco in May, 5 years protected NCB - 430

I'm 23, and in a GU postcode.

I keep hearing that a lotta people are having major results with elephant, can't see why though. Initial web quote with them was 600, rising to 860 at the end of the web form!

23 with 3 years NCB and 3 points .

£770 with Adrian flux on a Vr6 fully comp.

They did quote £1200!!!! until i told them bell direct gave me a £800 ish quote so they knocked nearly £500 off just like that.

Make sure you have a good quote to use as leaverage.

cheers

That really winds me up.

Obviously insurance companies have got people over a barrel, but that is just taking the ****. I mean, c'mon guys - dropping £500 on a "say so" - WITHOUT verifying it? Rah. Just how much profit do these companies make?

what annoyed me was the fact i was already their customer.

I told the guy i was concerned that i had to do the shopping around to get the good quote or they would have cost me another £500!

He apologised and assured me of a better quote next year.

anyway a good price in the end.

2years no claims

Living in Beirut (F* rated insurance area!)

I got one quote for £6500! Some places wouldn't insure my postcode, fuckers.

Anyway, i'd recommend Brentacre to anyone looking for a new quote:- service was fantastic and the best quote I found.

Dan,

No, I'm not living in N Ireland now, will be spending most of my time on the Isle of Wight for at least the next year. We really get ripped off back home!!!!!

1.8 16V (J)

age 27

Fully comp (protected)

I currently pay £670

I continued my old policy from my old car - so it isn't the best price to pay!
