What do they do??

Does anybody know what the 2 little switches are located in the drivers side footwell just behind the bonnet release handle.

Ill have to get a pic up. But they are almost hidden, literally behind the bonnet release handle. They are very small, the size i would say is 5mm x 5mm. I was just curious to see if they had some sort of real use. I dont think it was the fuel cut off as the car was started when i spotted them and pressed them with no result.

Agree with above- prob something to do with an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser :shrug:

Maybe it stops that annoying beep beep on the clifford??

 

You can do that by pressing a different button! :lol:

My Autowatch had a "hidden" button fitted with it, where i press the fob to get in the car, keys into ignition and to the on position. Now, the ignition lights wont come on, thus car wont start until i press this "hidden" button. Maybe its the same sort of thing. However this feature can be turned off, for when you take car into garage or like.
