Rado16v's VR

Recommended Posts

Not had a chance to post on the group properly with pics so here goes.

I've had a 2.0 16v for 3 years and its been a dream but just longed for more power and the aural pleasure of the VR :D

Picked it up last week, its 21k miles 1 owner and FVWSH and old mot's from new. Its black with black cloth and thats pretty much it.

Don't think I'll do anything too drastic to it in the way of modding it. It handles so great and the ride is wonderful at the mo, don't wanna ruin it.

Thanks for looking.

Amit

LOL, the 16v's not all that bad. I miss the thrashability of the 16v, put your foot down and instant response all the way to 6.5k revs whereas the VR seems lazy at first but when it goes damn she goes.

Glad you approve Dave.

PS thanks for moving.

Got to admit that my 8v Golf would outpace the VR up to about 3k-4k revs. After that it's obviously VR without question.

You sold the valver Amit, or are you keeping that as a spare/competing with Mike Edwards? lol

LOL, The scenes only big enough for one Mike Edwards and his 3 C's.

The 16v will have to go soon, wish I could keep her but just wouldn't be able to afford it nor have the space.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Jim, when you getting a C then, fancy a valver in moonlight blue

I'd definately like to know whenever you plan to sell it.. problem is, I have seen your car and know its an absolutely superb example so I suspect it would be quite seriously out of my price range!

Well as I say, be sure and let me know when it comes up for sale.

I'm not in a position to buy anything just yet, but I am seriously thinking over what I plan to do. I'm gonna start trying to flog my Saxo in the coming weeks for a more realistic figure than before, and I am hoping to get some interest. Should then get me in a position to sort out a good car! :)

Yeah sure mate, was £6750. Had to pay the asking price since the car had so much interest understandably.
