corrado9a 0 Posted July 30, 2009 Hi all last week i scan the car for codes as i am in the middle of fixing some problems and it threw me these errors: 00515 - Camshaft Position (Hall) Sensor (G40) 30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent 00281 - Vehicle speed sensor (G68) 27-00 - 00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28) 03-00 - No Signal I changed the cam pos. sensor for a brand new one, i cleaned the conectors with connector cleaner, also the big engine conector close to it, i drove the car for a while and the same 3 errors showed. (of course i cleaned the codes after first read) can anyone help with their experience on this? where else to look? thanks in advance Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dr_mat 0 Posted July 30, 2009 00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28) 03-00 - No Signal This one will always show up if the engine is not running. Ignore it. Not sure about the other two. I would guess your camshaft sensor has a wiring fault. You'd have to trace that back to the ECU and see if there's any chaffed wires anywhere.
