where shall i buy a timing chain kit?

Try AVS or gsf, avs are febi bilstein which i believe is pretty much the same as VW stuff but renamed.

Did you have any luck in tracking down the best buy? im needing a timing chain set with tensioners within a week/10 days.

Mine came from main dealers, not sure how much though, price was included in total garage charged me for re-build. Parkway VW Derby did say it was the first chain set for a corrado vr6 they had EVER sold, not sure if i believe that myself! Ian
