Ive got a mk2 golf which im doin a g60 conversion to,i got a corrado loom for it,but it looks like the red wire that goes to the coil is missing,the plug is a H shape and has a green wire in it to,is there ment to be a red wire,if so where does it go to?please help as i need to get my engine soon. :help: :scratch: :salute:

G60 loom has 2 wires to the coil:

i think the early ones have a red/black one on the coil that feeds the rpm signal to the clocks.like the valvers.

My g60 is at work.Maybe someone else can confirm or deny.

My G60 is exactly like the one pictured. March 91 registration.

stick with the golf one, think they change on the later mk2's and thats the one you need
