say you have a budget of £100 for speakers?? Something to replace the standard 5.25 components in the VR6

 

would you look to buy lower down the range of a good brand or higher up the range of a lesser brand??

Cant access ebay as I'm at work but can see its a set of focals.

So you'd go with the good brand.

 

I guess what I'm trying to ask is.

the £100 Focal/Hertz/diamond speakers are gonna be basic compared to the rest of there range.

 

whereas £100 Pioneer/Alpine/JBL speakers are gonna a bit higher up in there range.

 

So is the basic good brand speakers a better buy than the good basic brand speakers......if you know what I mean :shrug:
