Corrado on ebay

Recommended Posts

Iv just spotted this corrado on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

How much you reckon it's worth? Also approximately how much would the electric recaros be worth if sold seperatly?

Thanks

id say you could knock him down a little but im a cheep skate!

he also says the temp never goes above 98degrees but that seems a little high to me... but then im not fluent with VR's

he keeps going on about it being rare but storms and g60's are probably rarer...

still 3k isnt far off... id want it fully taxed though and id like to look through the service history and under the hood before i went in with the wonga

i think i just dont like the way the bloke has written the sale thred...

Edit: i just spotted... the reserve is at £3, the car is up too £4500!! i wouldn't pay that! :gag: I'm sure you can find some REALY nice ones for 4-5k that one is just std...

P.S. the seats are worth about £300 for the two for a second hand pair

Also, check his feedback, he has a negative from a car sale - having said that the rado looks lovely, not £4500 lovely though! The seats would fetch about £650 these days I suppose, maybe a touch more depending on condition.

there are some leather grey ones for sale for £450 in this forum, are the cloth more expensive?

"The rear spoiler works as it should, manually and automatically at 55mph."

I thought it came up at 45?

think that depends on whether the resistor has been adjusted or if its American spec.. but mine goes up at 45ish

He also told me that it's not all VW service and that its been serviced by a specialist a few times.

So are the electric recaros worth as much as corrado leathers?

I know it's hard to pin-point exactly but how much is this corrado worth or much would you pay for it?

Looks a tidy example with some nice extras..... I would like to think it's worth that much :D but not sure these day's. It's worth as much as your willing to pay for it, especially with the recaros.

Be very cautious giving his feedback on the audi he sold. I'd be very cautious about buying a rado off ebay for that sort of money... especially as i looked at a storm years ago that had been clocked. a quick phone call to a dealer confirmed it had done an extra 65K

Its worth what you willing to pay for it buddy......but to help you out if I were looking, and everything is as it seems, I would be willing to pay up to £3k for a decent example - but I think anything over £4K is a little silly these days for a VR (unless its had extensive work or silly low miles).

Hope that helps :)

Does look good condition... it IS black though. 98 degrees is low for the temp.

Not worth that sort of cash though

I reckon you can be too pally when drawing up a car ad. If this was in Autotrader, with those pics, a proper write up just listing facts (a la Rafa  ) like history, work done & any extras etc, and providing it checked out drive-wise and mileage wise, £3k - £3,500 would be about right.

If it's a straight honest car - it's a very nice example indeed.
