Anyone know the Colour code for the Speedlines?

Recommended Posts

Gona have the speedlines refurbished, and want them powdercoated.

Anyone know where to get the same color as original ? (where to buy the powder) (and maybe what it's called)?.

thnx

"Sparkle Silver" is pretty much the standard finish refurbishers use and is too sparkly imo, you want a 'flat' silver with much finer metallic flakes.

I know Pristine do Sparkle and 'normal' silver.

when i got mine done the guy had about 7 different silvers to pick from

Any idea what the color is called? (and how did it match up to the center caps?), I would like to get it as close to original one as possible - as the Spare wheel won't be done - it seem pretty much as new :)

i didn't get a name or code for the colour, i asked him to get as close as possible to the centre cap, but i also had the caps sprayed too.

naaa, I think silver will be missing the "sparkle".......I'v had some other parts painted in silver - but they would be to "flat" - I think there is difference between silver and silver though....lol...;)
