Fitting Window Scrappers

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am trying to fit the window scrappers that fit along the outside of the door (I did not have any fitted I bought the car). I have removed the door cards and the inner window scrapper. I have fitted the drivers side but it does not fit tightly against the window (when glass is down its perfect tight against the glass but when the window up there is a gap its getting on my nerves!. I am trying to remove these and the problem is I cant take them off :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: . Please could anyone advice me on how can I remove these!!!!

they are a fit once item, they are scrap if removed but if not 100% fitted tightly, you might be lucky if you ease it out gently

to do it properly, unbolt the glass and drop it into the door out of the way. Lube the window strip with fairy liquid and push it on from the top of the door, making sure the bottom edge feels like it slots home inside the door, that's the critical part.
