Pete 0 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) Cheers guys, its great handling better feels so much sharper. Im getting a little grinding of the cat heat shield on my driveway slope but not excessive, and the firmer ride is making the exhaust bump the axle so I'll tighten up the clamps. Overall though chuffed!!! Love the way it looks now :-) ---------- Post added at 1:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:08 PM ---------- Edited July 27, 2012 by Pete

Pete 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Finally got around to washing the car, first time since feb or march maybe?
Billzeebub 1 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) Your car looks sensational mate. I love the OEM look with the larger Speedlines. I have gotta get myself some of those. They just look so intrinsically right on the C.. ..think I may try and get the same wheels but in 16s Edited August 4, 2012 by Billzeebub
Pete 0 Posted August 4, 2012 Thanks mate, I'm not getting any rubbing issues at all, the geo has been done properly and the car runs a little camber at the front and less at back. My wheels are 7 and no spacers which probably help a lot...
VR6 0 Posted August 5, 2012 I think I'm getting old. I think the alloys are a touch too big at 17". Don't listen to me though, I think the car looks great :salute:
Pete 0 Posted August 5, 2012 You can never go too big :-)

Pete 0 Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) VR6 | Flash Red | Swansea Price: £4750Description: Hi guys ive bitten the bullet and bought a new car so the vw is getting tucked up in the garage and put up for sale. The full details of my car are here August '94 car Flash red with black cloth. No wear on the seats AT ALL 2 previous keepers 84800 miles Mot to April '13 No tax at present only until the end of January. All history vw and specialist (serviced last in April) All manuals, documents, piles of receipts etc Both keys and fobs for alarm New windscreen fitted jan '12 New battery last summer can't remember exactly when New 4bar Bosch fuel pump fitted feb 2012 I have owned the car since aug '10 and the previous owner had it from 2001. Price wise I'm happy to negotiate on individual items but the options include: Private plate M5 VVX (car is M plate) Active Kenwood sub SW01 Alpine Bluetooth USB mp3 cd head unit 133BT (or Sony 5555) Alpine G series 5.25 components and 6x4s 17" Speedline Challenge 2110 OEM wheels with 6mm+ kumho 39 tyres (or 15" originals all decent tyres, one like new) BMC CDA carbon induction kit (or OEM) sounds fantastic with a replacement VW standard exhaust which was fitted around 2004. AMD ECU with printed dyno of 209.3bhp at flywheel, 167.2 at wheels at 5835rpm. Torque 199lb/ft at 5072 rpm. Recaro seats on custom corrado subframes Car will come with the 288mm brakes and weitec coilovers due to the hassle in removing them. OEM speakers and suspension can be included. Recent engine mount upgrade to the group buy poly mounts and a rubber gearbox mount. Lots of spares and tools. Including:- HT leads and removal tool Spark plug removal wrench for deep seated VR6 plugs Crank sensor Cassette tape holder BMC panel filter VR6 boot badge Like new alloy spare 15" For the car as-is and all spares etc I'm looking for £4000 After the coilovers were fitted the car had 2 geo alignment sessions at Dave Coe rally specialist in Swansea and is spot on. Engine is quiet and uses no oil at all, moves steadily up to around 106 deg and never higher. Lovely overrun pops with the remap too Clutch is crisp with nice bite though if I'm picky there is a littel slip and the throttle cable could do with a grease. The gearbox is smooth and pull is strong and never pops out or anything nasty like that. All the electrics work, inc sunroof tile and slide, spoiler, abs light etc. Alarm has total closure to sunroof and windows. Car had a full respray last year due to a shopping trolley bump and because I was itching to get it done. Work was done by Customagic in south Wales who are a full respray specialist and took out the glass and all outside trim etc. Not a dirty blow over lol. If honest the paint needs a polish as there are some machince polish swirls on the passenger wings but an easy fix I just don't trust myself to do it and it's not bothered me enough to get it detailed out. Nice to see a red corrado that's not pink lol. Im sure I have forgotten something which will come to me later, so feel free to either pm me or give me a ring on 079-555.436 48. I'll put some pics up here but more are on the build thread and I can email anything specific. Edited January 13, 2013 by Pete

Dougie S 10 Posted October 21, 2012 car looks great, could you possibly let me know how much you would be after without any of the optional extras? thanks.
Pete 0 Posted October 21, 2012 Hi what exactly do you want spec wise?
Dougie S 10 Posted October 21, 2012 Basically, without any of the things on your optional list or the spares. Just the parts you indicated would be too much hassle to remove. Thanks.
Pete 0 Posted January 13, 2013 Hi guys car is back for sale as I have a Lexus IS250 coming next week. Cr will be garaged and moth balled until sold but ie reduced the price to 4k with soooo many spares you'll need a spare car to take them all away! Lol. Get in touch if you want to discuss prices, as the parts are also available separately if you want anything get in touch with an offer. Cheers, Pete. Pete 0 Posted June 19, 2013 Hi all just a quick bump had some nibbles but noone is biting yet. Always knew this would take some time to sell but the cars doesn't owe me any money and it's not eating anything in storage, plus it's too damn good to let go for peanuts! I going to put the car on pistonheads or eBay on the weekend but I would sell the car with all the bits for 3500 or for less with less spares etc all can be discussed on a part by part basis. Feel free to contact me if your interested. Cheers.
Byrd 10 Posted June 19, 2013 If I lived in the UK, I would have it off you in a flash! In fact with all the great cars that come up for sale on the forum, and the prices they are going for, I might move there just to feed my Corrado habit. Man those wheels do it for me 100%.................Good luck with the sale!!! PS Here is SA, for 3000GBP, you would get a 250 000 mile Golf 3 1600 beaten into eternity.........................
