Bobbywhacker 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Gonna lower the C (coilovers) and then whack these on.. will they fit!?! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... gory=28648 I figure keep it in the family so to speak
Storm 0 Posted February 12, 2004 Sorry they wont. Wrong offset & PCD VR6 has 5 x 100 PCD all other C's hace 4 x 100 PCD RS4 is 5 x 112 You can usually get replica's that are drilled correctley.
KARMANN 0 Posted February 12, 2004 yeah replicas are around £700-£750 for 18s £650 for 17s. Cheers Fraser
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted February 12, 2004 I have replicas on mine - look..... (17s) Now sporting 215/40/17 Toyos which fit properly though ;)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 13, 2004 The genuine RS4 wheels were renowned for buckling anyway...... alloy was too soft..... K
dan 0 Posted February 13, 2004 I've got the replicas on mine to... they're 16 x 8", with 205 x 45 tyres The wheels fit absolutley perfectly & the 45mm profile tyres give a nice combination of performance & handling that fits beautifully with the Corrado's charecteristics. PhatVR6 0 Posted February 13, 2004 They're not RS4 replicas, they're V6 4 motion alloys.
jedi-knight83 0 Posted February 13, 2004 No offence andi, cause your a nice guy and all....but those replica's dont look that............ well, replicated.... there much flatter than the RS4 alloy. surely you can fit the TT version of this wheel and the TT has the 5x100 offset
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted February 13, 2004 I didn't buy 'em to copy the RS4. I needed some alloys quick - had an accident and two buckled wheels, and they were dead cheap and in stock and fitted ;)
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted February 13, 2004 Oh, and they're certainly not flat. They're a right bastid for curbing, as they are so sticky-outty. Alot better on 215s though.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 13, 2004 They're not RS4 replicas, they're V6 4 motion alloys. The ones on Ebay are V6 4 motion alloys are 7 spoke 6.5J x

Alot better on 215s though. fair enought... am i right in saying the audi 18" RS4 style wheels will fit though if thats the style you want. TT, A3, S3 are all 5x100 A4 upwards are 5x112
Bobbywhacker 0 Posted February 13, 2004 I've seen plenty of TT's with the RS4 style alloys on, would these be replicas or have Audi made a RS4 style(eee) in PCD100? Basically, what is the optimal offset for 17" n 18" alloys, I know the offset is dependant on the width but some1 please humour me... i'm special
Bobbywhacker 0 Posted February 13, 2004 could some1 please use some monkey magic photoshop on these please, I cannae decide whether they'd suit the C or not http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... gory=28648

Bobbywhacker 0 Posted February 17, 2004 feckin 'ell.... they do seem a tad 'oversized'! Admittedly I was looking at getting 17"s, they look more like 71"s!
jedi-knight83 0 Posted February 17, 2004 well i think the actual A8 wheels are 19 or 20 inch!!! you'd have to find some good copies!
