I was sure i replied to this thread, but here goes:-

 

95-96 - 1989 Austin Mini

96-97 - 1990 Citroen AX GT

97-99 - 1990 Astra GTE 16v

99-01 - 1991 Corrado 16v

01-present 1995 Corrado VR6

02-05 - 1994 Citroen Xantia 1.9TD

05-present - 1998 Peugeot 306 1.9TD

 

Owning the GTE at 19 was fun!!! Bit inexperienced in VW ownership though..

I've owned....

 

Honda CR80 schoolboy scrambler

Subaru Estate with 'special sunroof' for rabbit shooting

Subaru Pickup x2

 

Then I passed my test in 1997 and have owned

 

1997-1999 1977 Fiesta 1.1L, blue with black vynal roof

1999-2004 L reg Maestro 2L Turbo Diesel, Red

2004 to present 1991 Corrado 1.8 16v, Aqua blue pearl

2005 to present 1991 Corrado 1.8 16v, Red and Mossy-Non runner.

Being 16 im yet to own my first car, but I hope it goes along the lines of

 

Polo - 1.0 so i can afford petrol on student income

maybe a golf, mkII/IV - 1.4/6

Corrado G60 in burgundy 8) before im 30 at least!! let's hope they havent all been written off by then :-P

i'm 33 and VW wise have had:

 

Mk1 Golf Cab - X reg

Mk2 GTi F reg, dropped a TSR Donnington into that and it went!

Mk 2 GTi G Reg

Passat 1.8 SE S Reg

and my 'rado N Reg, best car I've driven and my current drive.

 

also had:

 

1.4 Corsa forget the reg but it was 94 ish

1.8 Cavalier

Mini 1275 GT on an old T plate - was like a high powered roller skate!

2.9 Granada - rear wheel drive which was interesting to say the least!

1.2 Clio T reg (boring)

Mk 2 Astra - belonged to my stepdad originally and I killed it!

and a Tigra 1.4 bit of a hairdressers car!

have to say my fave before the corrado was the 205 gti lots of fun and was a clean non sunroof model (which i have been told is quite rare) but i simply couldnt keep it as it spent lots of time breaking down
