mrginge 0 Posted January 19, 2011 Looks good dude. :) Random question, do you still have the Venom's? If so i want them. Haha. Yep still here, but not for sale, it actually took along time to get 16s in 4x100 haha I got lucky when my mate bought a very 90's Astra GTE Mk2 for breaking which had them on. I will probably only get round to sorting the plates when i get fined for them, i have the new ones in the boot but sometimes i need a kick up the ass to sort something so trival. Toohottotrot 10 Posted August 6, 2011 Do your neighbours ask why you want more than one car? Mine do, they get very puzzled!
mrginge 0 Posted August 6, 2011 The normal is: "If you sold them all you could buy one good car".

mrginge 0 Posted June 5, 2014 Not updated in ages, probably the main changes are (Done plenty of mechanical and service items as well): Standard headlights, Standard grill but colour coded, Headlight protectors, New s/s exhaust inc De-Cat and much smaller tail pipe, 312mm Front brakes and Mk4 Rears + Goodridge hoses, Replaced split Samco with a full set of black Venair coolant hoses, Replaced Dubpower leads for Beru OEM, New windscreen and seals, The reason for the update though is the car is currently having a full respray - So im pretty committed to keeping it for more years to come. mrginge 0 Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) Still covered in dust etc but still exciting to look at. Starting to think maybe the rear needs a little lowering. I wont get the car back though till next week due to Autoglass taking an age to fit a new windscreen. Got some new cheap seats, never had bucket seats before. sexybourbon 0 Posted June 18, 2014 Good work mate those seats look pretty comfy
seanl82 23 Posted June 18, 2014 They look huge though, sure they'll fit?
mrginge 0 Posted June 18, 2014 Not sure tbh. If they don't they go back on ebay no issues as i didn't pay much for them. They don't seem much wider then a standard seat and the base or by the shoulders, I think they look wider in the picture i posted. They have been mightly comfy in my living room playing Gran Turismo. mrginge 0 Posted July 20, 2014 First wash, not been waxed yet or anything fancy just a quick shampoo to get the bodyshop dust off mainly. I managed to drive from the bodyshop (About 2 miles from my house) home and find out my radiator had split. So i used the one out of my brothers VR6 whilst i waited for new bits to arrive. Whilst checking the leak i found out my secondary waterpump had gone to crap as it sounded like lots of plastic bits being crunched inside it. So after paying the bodyshop bill i had to buy more parts including new tyres all round as i don't want to crash the car now due to cheap/crap tyres so im very skint right now ha Parts fitted this week: Radiator Plastic elbow and seal, Venair pipes on the oil cooler (I didn't fit them when i did the others due to access) Oil temp sensor Rad fan belt All 3 engine mounts Aux waterpump Just for reference my bay is still dirty from the bodyshop but its shows the change over the last few years - Less blue! As for the Corbeau seats, they sit very nice in there - Not to wide. So i just need to buy the correct frames for them.
