Portent 0 Posted November 12, 2010 Doesn't that backfire on people sometimes? Or do they just withdraw the sale if no one legitimately bids on it? Yeh heard on the radio not so long ago about one guy having his account cancelled, can't remember if he was fined or not though, I imagine he was... It's called shill bidding and it's illegal. stu37 0 Posted November 12, 2010 I am so glad you guys have commented on this I thought the price was absolutely unreal!!!! I was only talking to a friend with an old rs turbo escort and he had picked up a full leather recaro interior for £150... I then as a joke looked at corrado recaro on ebay and almost died!!!!! If the guy had been ..."shill" bidding he needs seeing too. It pisses me right off when people abuse things like ebay. You could buy a high mileage C for 1500- 1800 with leather swap interiors and be quids in!!
KipVR 1 Posted November 12, 2010 I once sold an item on ebay that I reckon the highest bidder set up another account to outbid himself and get out of the buy. His 'original' bid was on a Saturday night at midnight...

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 15, 2010 I was only talking to a friend with an old rs turbo escort and he had picked up a full leather recaro interior for £150... The Recaros Ford put in their cars are so much better than these ones though!! Even the standard Corrado seats have better thigh and torso support than these! Portent 0 Posted November 25, 2010 They're back, apparently relisted due to a timewaster (surprise surprise!): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Corrado-VR6-recar ... 20b569419d I so love them :) but can't afford them :(
corozin 0 Posted November 27, 2010 Seriously these Recaros aren't even leather. If these go for more than £400 the world will have gone truly, truly bonkers. But then I said something similar before I saw Lamborghini Reventon wheels fitted to a MkIV Golf earlier this year. Perhaps we're already in Narnia... Portent 0 Posted December 1, 2010 It's gradually creeping up and still has several days to go... £310. How high will it go this time?
