I'm 25 now, I've had my C for over 3 years. Before that I had a Nova GTE which had a series of engines in it. Finishing up with a 2 ltr 16v. No Nova jokes now! Before that I had a Pugit 205 XS which looked like a 1.9 GTI and before that a 205 GR 1.4... My Corrado was a 16v when I bought it but i bought a written off G60 and did the swap myself with the help of my brother, as we did with the Nova.

O.k-30yrs old now.

Had a MK2 1600 cavalier saloon at 21,modded of course, with a fast road cam and race head, weber carb,K+N filter, lowered, big brakes, stainless steel exhaust,15"alloys with red centre caps(red car-looked bl**dy good)and standard body apart from a boot spoiler. It would pull 60 in 2nd gear and surprised a hell of a lot of ppl.I was gutted when I sold it

But I bought a Corrado G60 and everythings fine now!! :p

24 today, 25 tomorrow.

And it doesn't bother me really. The promise of cheaper insurance keeps me going (why isn't there a sarcastic emoticon???)

Only had corrado since nov last. Had a '92 Scirocco Scala for most of the 2 years previous. Insurance here in N.Ireland is crippling, so before that it was just little lawnmower engined runabouts.

28 next month (still a student so you have got a long way to go Andi!)

 I had a 3 cylinder subaru justy when i was 20 although to be fair the AWD made it reasonable at going round corners.

I'm 33 in May - am I getting too old for this malarky? Not a chance

If anything the modding bug has got even worse - the C is getting a set of FK coilovers and polybushes fitted today

Was driving an XRpoo when I was 20 - I colour coded the body moldings and bumpers myself, and proptly wrote it off into a brick wall (going into a tailslide backwards!) The car was quite quick really for a 1.6 non injected car :rabiit:

Cheers

i'm 21, 22 in september.

bought my 1st cavalier beater when i was 17, the XR4Ti when i was 19, for my 20th birthday i found myself a nice Corrado G60..which i paid off until my 21st birthday :p and this past december i bought my 2nd cavalier beater for less than the cost to insure the corrado each month.

we just got the big warm front here as many of you elsewhere have i'm sure.. and i was delighted to wake up to the first dreary rainy morning today. all the salt is getting washed off the roads as i type this.. and it gets closer to rado time every day!

Are you sure you want to know?

I'm just 53 yrs young, next milestone in July.

As this seems to have developed into a cars I've had thread here what I've done. You weren't born then but....Vauxhall Victor; 3 minis, last one a Cooper bored to 1050, stage 2 ported/flowed/big valve head, twin 1.5 SUs, light fly, hardened balanced crank, deseamed body, flares for spaced 5.5J wheels - it was fun; MG Midget; MGB; Lotus Elan; 4.2 Jag XJ6; Alfetta GTV (+2 Mk1 Escort estates while I was rebuilding it) and another 4.2 XJ6; a Polo (having stuffed the Alfa into the back of a POLICE car  )

Got the 16v in '92 and the VR6 to go with it in 2000 & still know what my right foot's for

LOL

I'm 31  , and still pottering around in my Mk2 Golf 16v! Nearly sold it and bought a Corrado VR6 Storm, or E36 BMW M3 about 2yrs ago but got my sensible head on and bought a house instead!! :?

Hopefully, the Golf will be getting Corrado power this year....not sure which although I am leaning towards VR rather than G60..... :D

Probably isn't worth much.

First things first, 32 at the moment, I had a Scirocco GL at the age of 20 (bought at 19) - back in the days when they were worth something then...

I had my fun with a Ford Essex V6 lump in my Granada......... Hearse... great fun. 0-60 10 secs (ish) cruising up the motorway at 90 in the fast lane.... in a hearse... Lots of interesting looks I can assure you, or how about when I had a trailer attached to the back. We always used to say we had room for a whole family with the hearse and the trailer.... :p  It was a great workhorse until it died one afternoon, we buried it soon afterwards....
