Ginger60 0 Posted January 25, 2011 Hi guys, need a new idle control valve, damn pricey at £200 any ideas on a cheaper supplier? thanks
VR6 South 0 Posted January 25, 2011 Have a search on Flea Bay. I purchased a new one from the Air Flow Meter Company (I think they are called) for about £40. They are not genuine but they do have a years warranty and who cares at that price. Most of ther stuff is best offer so try offering between £5 and £10 less :)

Jim 2 Posted January 30, 2011 What engine is it for? If it's a 2.0 16v you can use the VR6 one and vice versa. They seem to sell on eBay second hand for about £15 - just keep your eyes peeled. I've bought a few now and they've all worked fine :)

Fulltimejunglist 0 Posted February 3, 2011 209 is shocking, not sure what else can be done, does any one know if these are interchangeable between vw models or engines? would give a bigger range to choose from. Ask people breaking them on ebay should have one. Is this the stuff people use to change their leather colour?

Nope, G60 has a unique part number, probably uprated to deal with the boost pressure and it also functions as a boost return valve in certain circumstances.
