VWVW 1 Posted March 1, 2011 Looks good and half the price of the 3M or VAG stuff Tell me about it...I purchased a recent VAG aerasol wax for 13 pounds...I am saving that for behind the fuel filler cap area :) the tool station one is only 3 pounds a can. davidwort 0 Posted March 1, 2011 Yes been using it for a year, very similar to vw stuff can't harm to spray it everywhere underneath, I used several cans on the front panels subframe, rear beam and battery tray etc before this winter, seems to be holding up well
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 2, 2011 For what it's Wurth, lol, the Wurth cavity wax spray is *exactly* the same stuff they used at the factory. Been using that recently it's the best stuff I've used by far. Use some on your car and it will smell like a brand new MK2 inside :) As Cheryl Cole will tell you, it's because we're Wurth it. Supercharged 2 Posted March 2, 2011 I used to love that MK2 smell on a hot day where the amber wax would seep out of the rear panel...
craigowl 0 Posted March 2, 2011 Just ordered a couple of these - thanks for heads up. Funny, while I was doing it a gent came to the door asking if the Corrado was for sale. His son is working on a big building contract down the road and asked dad to make enquiries on his behalf. Told him I wasnt selling just yet, but gave a good plug for the forum.
