SIMONG 0 Posted May 24, 2011 really struggling here and wondering if anyone can help. on my G60, PG block, on the block itself on the cambelt side the is a rectangular shaped blanking plate behind the cambelt which bolts to the block with four bolts. there is an oval shaped "O" ring which goes between the plate and the block. i need the seal!!! discountined at the dealers. can anybody help me out please! SIMONG 0 Posted May 24, 2011 i rang everywhere trying to get this butno joy! so ive ordered a conversion kit also know as a block sealing kit, hopefully its gonna have it in the. but i found out at about 5pm today that my work have a "O" ring making kit in the maintenance department so if worse comes to worse i can make one to suit! dannyboy 0 Posted May 25, 2011 hylomar? Blue stuff that goes off after few minutes but stays semi hard. I used to used that stuff all the time but ever since they brought out loctite 5190 ive never used anything else! O-ring kits you can cut your o-rings to your required length.
