urgent help needed with tyres stretch , clearing arches, lowering , etc

Recommended Posts

Are the wheels flat backed or shaped around the bolt holes?

If they're flat backed then redrilling is def the easiest option.. You'd want 10-15mm spacers on the front and the rears will be perfect.

Don't like the position of the small hole for redrilling, might be an issue for the machine shop.

If you really want the wheels on your car, personally I'd modify the arches to suit...just my opinion though! :) ET4 rears as bristolbaron says is pretty pokey!

just do the sensible thing and sell the alloys and buy some that will fit easilly, you will drive youself mad trying to get them to fit and spend lots of £'s doing it.

Get the wheels to 8.5 - 9j, make sure the offsets are somewhere between 15 and 20, roll the arches and away you go. Personally, i'd go with an 8.5".

Simple really.

Oh and get some Falkens on there!
