Hey just wondered how people here manage to buy from TPS as when you view their website its trade only ?

Hi Steve, it does but i think it best to actually go along to a local branch and see them face to face, mine are no problem and often order stuff for a few hundred quid without advance payment.

 

I have heard some dont like dealing with general public though.

I can't get a trade account out of the Portsmouth branch, I ask every time, spent over a grand in there in total.

Depends on the staff at my local... 90% are fine though. Don't have any problems now, I have a trade account through my limited company...a one man band! :norty:

Fake Cockney accent, overalls and a sharp intake of breath at every price quoted and most people will accept you as trade ;)

Our local club set up a cash account with our local TPS and main dealer.

I think you will often struggle getting a credit account as a non trade customer. Don't see why they couldnt do a cash on collection account for you though. I'm now working on getting mine delivered to me next!

Im thinking I may just try and get an account using my limited company from when I was working contract as I still have all the paperwork etc
