outside temp sensor

Where is the outside temp sensor on the C?

 

My vr6 keeps reading stupid figures on the MFA! The temp reading was 20c and went up to 50c!!! :bonk:

 

The water temps were around 100c and oil at 100c

Mounted in the front bumper grille on the left hand side.

If by up the wall you mean up the swanny, dead as a parrot, kaput, no more, deceased, expired and gone to meet its maker then possibly but I've never heard of it personally.

 

Mine managed to pop out of its position and was swinging around merrily in the road giving me daft figures, try unplugging it, spray some WD40 in the plug and try it again.
