Tooand 10 Posted November 19, 2011 Bought a set of amber LED indicator bulbs as I'm going to tint the rear lights red, but when fitted they flash like I've a bulb out, I'm guessing this is because the use very little power and the car can't detect them or I could be way off. Anyway, how do I cure this little problem pls
leon263 0 Posted November 19, 2011 The LED bulbs have a very low resistance and you will need to wire in resistors to rectify the problem. Do a search on e-bay for 'LED bulb resistors' and you will pick up a pair for around £6. Scroll down through the post below and you will find pictures showing the wiring required. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58695-Ben_Wooduk-s-Black-Corrado-VR-Number-
Kempy 0 Posted November 19, 2011 They are normally quite long and white. Mine are anyway.
fla 9 Posted November 19, 2011 get the ones with the external heat sink - more expensive but worth it . I may have a spare set with the spades still on them so you just have to plug them in. Will check and let you know.
