Abdul 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Hi guys, anyone know what colour this is? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0d/VW_Corrado_16_V_%282010-04-12%29_ret2.jpg Doesn't look like blackberry to me, this seems to have a darker purple hue.... Thanks Abdul
Walesy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Twilight violet pearl effect - LC4T
Swompy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Might be dark burgundy pearl but from that pic looks like it might have a slight blue tinge to it
Walesy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) Nah, it's twilight violet, like one of my ex's! Hard to capture pearl colours as they change so much according to light etc. Edited December 7, 2011 by Walesy
Jim 2 Posted December 7, 2011 It's neither of those. It's a colour which I've only seen over in Germany - the paintcode doesn't even exist over here on our Corrado brochures for some reason! I've got a photo of the paint code from a Corrado over in Germany somewhere at home which I'll try and dig out tonight if I remember to confirm it! Bendy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 looks the same colour as mine, as walesy said, twilight violet.
Jim 2 Posted December 7, 2011 I believe it's this colour: Which is LC4V and simply called Violet Pearl Effect.
Walesy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Ooh, OK i'll stand corrected, never heard of that one and it certainly looks close to twilight violet pearl! :)
Jim 2 Posted December 7, 2011 I wouldn't have been so sure had I not seen a similar colour in Germany before and spent a bit of time trying to find out what it was! And then saw that one on German plates!! :) To be honest it could just as easily be Blackberry in the right light! :) But I'm pretty sure it's this LC4V! Walesy 0 Posted December 7, 2011 Agreed, it sits very nicely, proper sized wheels/tyres etc, just a few subtle tweeks, nice to see!

vr6storm v2 10 Posted December 7, 2011 It's neither of those. It's a colour which I've only seen over in Germany - the paintcode doesn't even exist over here on our Corrado brochures for some reason! I've got a photo of the paint code from a Corrado over in Germany somewhere at home which I'll try and dig out tonight if I remember to confirm it! I looked at a late VR in that very colour from the local VW Stealer back in 2000,it stayed local for a couple of years and then vanished, the reason I know it wasnt Twilight was that at the time JoeM's Corrado was owned up here and the one I looked at was deffo a different kind of hue to his one,I think it must have been a special order colour
