Never thought I would see that car again. I saw that car on ebay and was next in line if you didn't get it. So glad you it was another forum member that bought it and decided to fix it up and get it back on the road and not just part it out like so many others

Hey man

I think it was you who was messaging me about my old vr6! I had that on eBay a few months ago. This ones actually my new 1 I got from robo22sri! The guy that got my old one came on here as bigsteve iirc! Not sure what happened to it in the end but last I heard was it got impounded as was sitting in a public carpark or something like that. Unfortunately I've lost the guys number as I didn't save into phone. I'm hoping he got it all sorted though.

I didn't know u were on here. Was always wanted someone on here to have it really, but did need a bit of work!

Cheers for the comments anyway buddy.

Take a look around the oil pressure sensor. I've seen a few leaks there and that was the cause of mine.

Thanks portent

Where's that located?

It used to just leave a few drops from the crank seal but never this much!

Cheers

Another forum member changed mine but they (there are two) should be on the upper oil filter housing I think. There will be wires going into them obviously. Also I believe they need locktight or ptfe tape on the threads to stop then leaking (someone more knowledgeable than me can advise). It may not be the source but it can be common.

Noooo lol my dad buried it in the shed so I couldn't find it last week! I've got it now tho so that's another thing to do tomorrow :)

The pipes got a tiny pinhole in it! It's ok for now :/ and samco didnt seem like they cared when I rang them....

Put the milltek on yesterday!

The old system was still in pretty good condition apart from the centre box.

1 hit with the hammer and the clamps came off which was good, then all the pipes just slid off !! Which was even better!

Ended up taking less than an hour to do.

It's crazy how much lighter the milltek system is and the noise is lovely!

Almost standard when ticking over but when you floor it..........all the smiles :D

The milltek's fitted! And it sounds amazing !

The old exhaust came off so easy I couldn't believe it!!

Had the old 1 off and the new 1 on in under an hour on my mates drive. The clamps were totally rotten but with 1 hit with a hammer they split straight off.

The old system is still in ok condition apart from the centre suitcase.

Are you meant to drop the rear beam to get the standard exhaust off?

I ended up chopping it up
