Johnny H 0 Posted January 4, 2012 Hi Guys. I've now got myself a VR6 Corrado after a LONG time of wanting one :dance: I brought it off a really nice guy from here called Michael (Toohottotrot). I Started yesterday morning (tuesday) at 6.30am and got to him at 9am 125 miles later and after looking and the car and talking for afew hours i brought the car and i was happy with it. I drove it home down the M5 with no trouble at all and loving the V6 :grin: I couldnt believe i had a Corrado so i took my son out for a drive to 'show of abit'. Then the trouble started, i started pulling away and she started missing and not sounding good :( I coundnt believe it when i found out that the coil pack had gone and i cant drive it now :pale: I wouldnt mind that much put i've not long sold my Audi S3 which always had coil packs going. So i have to wait until she is fixed now to have more fun. I will Start a thread all about her with pics when shes running nice again. KIPVW 0 Posted January 4, 2012 As Jim says they can go at the drop of a hat, a few years ago at Stanford Hall show I parked up in the concours as usual gave the car a good clean and left it all day with the bonnet up but when i fired it up to leave it was missing big style :( thought someone had been messing for it to go like that lol! turns out was the coil pack.
