knight5651 0 Posted March 14, 2012 Hi all, I'm currently in the process of changing all of my interior lights from green to red. I've done all of the switches by removing the green filters and soldering in red LED's it seems to have worked spot on. But now I'm stuck with the heater controls, I don't think it would be as bad if I had a later corrado but mines an early one with the slider controls. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can do this? Cheers Alex
G60 CS 0 Posted March 14, 2012 Its just a green filter in the heater controls isnt it ?
knight5651 0 Posted March 14, 2012 I did think that but the filter is part of the whole plastic strip if that makes sence so I can't see how just the green filter can be removed. I'll get a pic up later to show what I mean.
dragon green 5 Posted March 14, 2012 They are glued together,if your careful, they do come apart. As above, just a green filter !

dragon green 5 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) Found the heater fascia, I too can't see how to separate them ! It's like they have been sprayed. Edited March 14, 2012 by dragon green
knight5651 0 Posted March 14, 2012 As above, that's the problem I've come across, I know the Seats have red interior lights, maybe an old one has the same heater controls? Surely there must be a way lol, no one tried this before?
JMC 0 Posted March 14, 2012 Yep, I did this by creating a new plastic insert from printed acetate. Then I used more light bulbs to provide a more even illumination across the controls, which to be honest is dire in the original setup. There should be something on it in my build thread.
