Wiper motor cover, Aqua Blue L5CU Bonnet, Warning triangle

Hi,

 

As title really, after a wiper motor cover - mine late model 1994 if that matters - and a Good rust,major chip,dent free bonnet in Aqua Blue L5CU Colour if possible.

Also after an original warning triangle in plastic sleeve to go in rear seat - being a tart now ha ha

Just a hint. I bought mine from vag, it's a passat one, and it fits perfectly. Even cheap too.

Wiper motor cover part number is 3A2 955 128. Still available and under a fiver.

Been to local VW dealer and they said wiper cover is not available from Volkswagen, they put the 3A2 955 128 part number in and could'nt even tell what car it was for and couldn't get a picture up like they do for other parts. They tried passat as well. Are they being muppets? they are normally pretty good for what I have got from them so far - even had rear headrest conversion for mk2 golf!

I just went to my dealer for a wiper cover motor. They couldn't find it on their diagram but managed to find it with the part number above. Still available at £7.49.

Try another dealer or tell them to order that specific part, it's available just awaiting delivery from Germany!

Its an non-illustrated part on the Passat. ie. it shows (-) as an illustration parts reference number.

Its listed immediately below the wiper motor itself in the ETKA Passat parts list which usually indicates association with the part or parts listed immediately above it in the parts table list.

 

(-) does not mean it can't be ordered. Just as said, use the part number. It will come up on the system with a price and UK stock level.

As already mentioned the wiper motor cover is a Passat item, its from the 93-97 model year Passat range and I spotted it as a suitable donor part for a Corrado when I had my Passat.

 

It does fit pretty well but you need to remove the small foam blocks and it will rub the underside of the bonnet a little, but it does tidy up the engine bay and when coupled with a mk2 Golf scuttle cover looks very OEM IMHO.
