fla 9 Posted May 14, 2012 Can anyone advise if the orange can be scraped off of these (like the audi volts/oil dials)?

fla 9 Posted May 14, 2012 Thanks Dragon. I've got a set of white ones but i prefer the profile of the orange ones but want to change them to red rather than orange. I've done the audi ones in white with red backlighting (but not fitted yet). My clocks are blue and red needles would go quite well i think. Could you please post a pic of your 92 white ones please just in case they're different to mine?
dragon green 5 Posted May 15, 2012 Here's a pic of two of the needles,
Stonejag 10 Posted May 15, 2012 Doesn't the needle come off the base? I would spray them with some vinyl dye (not paint) - great finish and it melts itself into the surface of the plastic so it won't chip or flake. Even if they're one-piece you could still do it with some careful masking... Stone
fla 9 Posted May 15, 2012 thanks dragon. Same as mine, i think. Stone, i want to keep the transparent needle with the colour coming through from the light being reflected on the bottom face, which i would do red, if that makes sense?
