Barney 10 Posted July 5, 2012 has anyone seen a thread on fitting hayabusa throttle bodies on a valver?
seanl82 23 Posted July 5, 2012 Have a look on VWVortex. Those crazy yanks may have tried it, or something similar using bike TBs. Dunno how much difference it'll make tbh, but using bike carbs gives a little extra in the power department, but that's only achieved by bunging tons of fuel in! Other option is ITB's which apparently yield better results.
Barney 10 Posted July 5, 2012 just found a video on youtube and your right the crazy yanks have tried it ha, not really thinking of going down the carb route it just seems a bit wasteful, i just noticed a set of busa tb's on ebay and the spacing between them didnt seem that far out! corradophil 3 Posted July 6, 2012 You could always use the carbs as throttle bodies, i.e. they control the air flow, and fuel is controlled electonically. There is lots of info on the Club GTI forum about doing this.
