max west-yorks 10 Posted August 9, 2012 Hi as title today I noticed my car making a relatively loud clicking noise coming from the belt, lower pulley area. I have recently done a belt change but from quickly sticking my hands down there in works car park I couldn't feel any play in pulleys but I guess I shouldn't be able to with the rely tight? Any ideas what it could be? seems to be in time with revs and is definitely on the outside of the engine not piston slap etc could it just be a case of a loose pulley bolt?
