  1. thanks man :) ---------- Post added at 6:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:17 PM ---------- side repeaters are all still wired up and hidden in the scuttle with bulbs and the lot, so if it was ever an issues for MOT id just secure them on the outside, but it didnt come up as a question last year! ---------- Post added at 6:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:18 PM ---------- got a couple of decent photos last week with the good weather
  2. Well its been quite a while, should probably update this... Had a somewhat unproductive winter of not really doing much, sold the D90s end of last year and bought these from a guy on E38 for a decent price who had them on a blue rado at the last E38 show. Speedline mistral 16x8/10 3 piece 5x112 rear came out at something ridiculous like 16x10 et-5 or et0 which as you can see was just waaaay too aggressive (thats sat on tyre still had travel to go lower ) Was going to sell them on as I didn't really have the money at the time but just decided to man up... so ended up sourcing some smaller dishes from germany and rebuilding. built up and with new smaller 205/40s and in comparison to the fitment of the 10s above, much better! Unfortunately they didn't come with centre caps and they are almost impossible to get hold of now unless they come with your set. Luckily though the standard OEM corrado speedline centres fit perfectly actually quite like the colour contrast at the moment but theyll probably get painted at some point... and a couple on the car (oh got a private plate too because I'm such a pikey... ) Wanting to take it down maybe 10mm more at the front for a slight rake but other than that pretty happy with it. I've also cut down the splitter from 90 to 60mm, the 90s tastic splitter is overkill on a corrado in my opinion, I much prefer the look of the older rados, minus the inside out bonnet also got a few new bits and pieces and a new headlight as one had cracked after a stone hit it on the motorway Other than that the car is running pretty sweet with no issues since the big fix last year when half the front end had new parts put in! New fitment of wheels for anyone interested is; 16x8 195/40/16 falken et15 after adapters on the front with 2.2 deg neg camber 16x9 205/40/16 falken et4 after adapters on rear with 3.5 deg negative both have 5x112 to 5x100 15mm adapters and arches rolled all round Car was already notched from when I bought the D90s 1 and a half years ago so no rubbing Apologies about the photo quality, they were already bad enough iphone pictures but photobucket seems to have made them even worse during upload:bonk::bonk:
  3. so glad someones done a uk version of this ive just started to get early symptoms, and wouldnt have had a clue how to tackle it without this guide!
  4. yeah, the guy had them up cheap for quick sale as he's moving house, figured it was worth a bash to see if I could get them on the rado, but I cant at the height I want to run... They fit his okay but I don't want to have to raise it.
  5. sorry guys pics on now ---------- Post added at 2:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 2:30 PM ---------- no caps bud Genuine stamped speedline dishes on the 10J rears is the main reason for the price, extremely hard to get hold of
  6. This is my set of speedline mistral 3 piece splits, these wheels are becoming very rare now, especially with the genuine stamped 10J speedline dishes They are 16x8 et33 fronts and 16x10 et15 rears so relatively adapter friendly for the widths 5x112 all round, pretty sure the centrebore is 55 off the top of my head, easy to bore to 57.1 VW if you planned on drilling hubs to 5x112 to fit 10Js without adapters Wheels have only done 100 No centrecaps as the centres have been dipped and powdercoated in gloss anthracite and rebuilt with all new bolts Tyres are near new 195/40/16 on the 8Js and 215/40 on the 10Js both with loads of tread before rebuild Wheels are in mint condition and viewing is definitely recommended pictures do them no justice These have been sat in my spare room won't get the use they deserve on my corrado so must be sold. Price is £1,100 Cash on collection preferred from Halifax, England HX1 Please text me 07812185254 for any pictures or info you may want Thanks, Max
  7. aren't these staggered et11 and et18? and 5x112 won't bolt straight on a corrado Haris had his hubs redrilled to fit them
  8. cheers James that's all really useful! I'm still waiting to get hold of one though! couple of guys have PMed but i haven't seen any photos as of yet, it seems no one has them anymore
  9. yeah it's separate nut and bolt but I can't get at the top one so didn't want to start the bottom two incase I couldn't get at the last one and just be left with a blowing cat!
  10. Good to know, that downpipe will be a nightmare if I can't get it off to the bottom!
  11. I suppose i could check but the car has since had the Schrick inlet removed and exhaust added so would be quite different to what he'll have!
  12. just checked my history no dyno map with the stealth receipts but did stumble across my £18,829 original bill of sale and gained a little extra love for her :D
  13. cams were done with the rebuild (as stealth did the rebuild) not during my ownership, perhaps it's in my folder of a million and one receipts just interested in the benefits people have seen from exhausts on VRs mainly!
