Glovebox light bulb?

Can Anyone tell me what type of bulb fits the interior glovebox light as mines missing!

Should be the same as the one thats in the boot. Use that as a reference at Halfords for example.

I would but that's missing as well lol the owner before me must have had a thing for bulbs thanks anyway

pmsl, just been looking and my whole light unit is missing, am sure i put it in a bag somewhere :lol:

You didn't own my car before me did you? lol loads of bulbs were missing when I got it some one, some where has them :)

Just whipped mine out (oooeeerrr missus!!) and took a pic for you. It's a 10w jobbie. 30mm long and the glass is 10mm wide.

I used a 31mm smd led bulb from ebay, much brighter and fits the same: like this one -

Thanks for whipping it out and taking a photo ;) ill be getting a led upgrade as I imagine the original is about as bright as a not very bright thing

that's way too high a wattage for the glovebox light, it's supposed to be 3W so a 10W could melt something

I've also got an LED bulb, decent ones emit enought light to be comparable to the conventional 3w bulb and are only 1 or 2W so heat won't be a problem

They're called festoon bulbs.

Eeek - it's the same bulb in the boot too! I think I'll change them both to the led type!
