emu 0 Posted October 14, 2012 My mate is looking for one so thought maybe someone of You had one before and can share some experience ?? For me is a brilliant looking car, permanent 4 wheel drive, excellent engine, you can get one even under 5k but it use a lot of petrol and insurance cost a lot as well. seanl82 23 Posted October 14, 2012 Great cars but parts and servicing cost an absolute fortune. Friend of mine has a V, and the cam pulley sheared off as she was pulling out the drive! Lucky for her it was only pulling off at v low speed and nothing was seriously damaged! They are looking a bit aged now I think though, but still a belter of a car imo
Jim 2 Posted October 14, 2012 Apparently you need to check the underside of them with a fine tooth comb for rust.. they used incredibly thin metal in the floorpan, etc - and I'm not sure if it's just not adequately sealed / protected but they rust like a swine. So make sure they check any car out THOROUGHLY for it!
