Harrier 1 Posted October 18, 2012 Looking for a clutch master cylinder, ideally one thats not had too much use. They are available from Vw but very pricey, have had 3 different ones sent up from Gsf but they cant get the right type.It has the 'ball type' pedal fixing, not the 'metal loop'.Probably going to have to shell out but thought it worth asking. CazzaVR 0 Posted October 18, 2012 Daren, you can change the pedal. Copied from another thread: I replaced the clutch master cylinder on my Jan 93 VR6 and had to use the upgraded cylinder as you have been quoted. Below is a list of the parts I needed and their description .... all from TPS. When fitted you will find that you also have to realign the hydraulic pipe from the m/cylinder as the feed from the new one comes out at a different place. Master cylinder ...... 358721388 .... £79.60 Clutch pedal .... 3A2721315 .... £33.21 Mounting .... 1H0721357 .... £0.68 Guide .... 191721421 .... £1.
Harrier 1 Posted October 18, 2012 Hi Andy,i was quoted £150 from TPS,i wonder if that part is a straight forward fit.If so there wouldn,t be much in it price wise
