My 1991 Corrado 1.8 16v Turbo Technics :D

Recommended Posts

Here is my Volkswagen Corrado, she has the 1.8 16v KR engine with a full Turbo Technics kit which was pushing around 200bhp before my Garrett t25 turbo went and the piston rings lost their compression, its undergoing an engine swap at the moment and will be better than ever with a HKS boost controller in place of its original bleed valve, and hopefully a full leather interior...hoping to build myself my own little supercar :) anyway here are the pics, hope you enjoy!

You should but I think it would be better to go with a more modern system than a TT setup, however TT do have some awesome bits of kit for a turbo conversion if you can find them (mostly on eBay) like the custom Garrett T25 compressor cover, under engine hard boost pipe, T25 turbo exhaust manifold, downpipe elbow and downpipe.

Nice to see a TT machine still in the wild, how low does the Corrado look parked up between that Polo and Golf!

not just low, looks like a toy car in comparison, looks even smaller than the polo!
