Various late VR6 parts from abandoned project - More bits added 051212

Recommended Posts

I have the following parts for sale from an abandoned MK2 VR project:-

Late VR6 rear beam - £45

Mk3 16V rear beam - £45

Both a bit scruffy but perfectly sound. The beams have identical dimensions and are indistinguishable.

Mk3 version is polybushed with braided lines attached.

SOLD Late VR6 front cross member in very good condition- £55

Late VR6 pedalbox in very good condition - £55

Late VR6 driveshafts in OK condition- £40

2 sets 288mm calipers & carriers needing refurb - £45 a set

Late additions, also from a late model VR6:-

Power steering rack and pipework - £55

Adjustable steering column - £55

Indicator & hazard stalk - £10

Wiper & MFA stalk - £10

Beams are collection only from central Cambridge. Prefer collection on other parts, really, and happy to post/courier small items but will courier others at a pinch.

Pics shortly...

Pricey, I'd think. They're pretty heavy.

I'll see about couriering if you tell me where you are but if you're not too far from Cambridge, I could meet you somewhere.

They're not too bad. They're in need of a good old wire brushing, a lick of hammerite or whatever and new boots & seals. The repair kits aren't pricey from VAG or BiggRed.

Or you could go the whole hog and send them to BiggRed and get them polymer coated. The coating is impervious to brake fluid and they can't rust then. They'll do new boots & seals included in the price at the same time. I did my fronts & rears and although a bit pricey it was well worth it for durability.

Cambridge is a breeze from West London, straight up the A1M, off at Baldock, Royston by-pass & A505. An hour and a bit tops. Come and have a nice day out, mate.
