Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 22, 2013 I bought this new from VW a few years ago and it covered less than 5000 miles. BIG money new!! £350! The coolant inputs have been cut off as it was fitted to a short runner intake, but the remaining brass tubes can be drilled out and new ones pressed in, or just bypass completely as most people do. £50 posted
fla 9 Posted January 22, 2013 any advantage of this over a regular throttle body?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 22, 2013 It can only be used with OBD2 setups mate.
fla 9 Posted January 23, 2013 sorry, i meant on an OBD2 setup (my kit is still sitting in the box)? I still havent even prepared my loom and am thinking of spares already!
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 23, 2013 It's a standard throttle mate, so no advantage. It's selling point is it's low mileage ;) I had to buy this one when the throttle in my old OBD2 setup started misbehaving.
