Yega 10 Posted March 2, 2013 Friend of mine at VW replaced the crank bolt today. Suprisingly the washer turned up today and so we fitted the PG engine bolt (6 sided one). Also had the car washed properly, then I used the claybar on it, waxed it and put Rainex on all the windows. Car is nice and shiny now.
Yega 10 Posted March 5, 2013 Just picked up a set of GroundZero GZRF52XII to put into the front doors. Will be fitting them along with the leather door cards this weekend :)

Yega 10 Posted April 11, 2013 Did some work over bank holiday weekend, replacing the front brake pads and disks, front suspension arms, anti-rollbar links and one of the wheel hubs. Here are some pics of the work. As you can see pads were absolutely gone and there were a lot of rusty parts that needed changing :D Car is happier now. Yega 10 Posted April 12, 2013 Wow those bushes and pads were pretty far gone! Excellent work! Yeah they weren't in best of shape. Was going to just replace them but thought might as well do whole arms. That leather interior looks a bit tasty! Very tidy!!. Love the leather in this car, feels very cosy especially on a long drive. Coming along very well indeed mate. Thanks :) I can't do much on it myself due to lack of knowledge and confidence but I try to do what I can, when I can. I've stuck a eyebrow on it earlier today that a friend donated to me and I have a de-badged grill on its way. Both will be sprayed matt black I think :)
