Jimm 10 Posted March 18, 2013 Looking to change the steering wheel in my raddo, Thinking bout getting one out of a 944 like this: Any one able to show me pics of their steering wheels they have changed?
seanl82 23 Posted March 18, 2013 I wouldn't tbh. Doubt very much it'll fit unless you get a custom adaptor, which will just bring the steering wheel too far forward imo. I don't like it personally, there's retro, then there's 80's crap.

timthetinyhorse 0 Posted March 18, 2013 That is properly nasty and won't suit the rado dash at all, just my 50p though

Cheap too! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sport-Black-Steering-Wheel-VW-Corrado-Jetta-Vento-Bora-/150588048861?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D6340834853501252259%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D150588048861%
Stonejag 10 Posted March 19, 2013 Is it old fashioned of me to really like the OEM one? (plus that Porsche one is hideous! Sorry ) My C had an aftermarket wheel in it when I bought it - had no end of problems getting the horn to work, right and wrong sizes of boss, switches that didn't fit the centre... In the end I gave up and bought an OEM one and it's all been fine ever since. The OEM leather ones are a nice upgrade to stock if you've got a cloth interior. Or get one of the standard Momo ones? clumpy1 11 Posted March 20, 2013 I've got a polo gt one in mine look's like it was made for the corrado.
Graphite 0 Posted March 20, 2013 Th best wheel I had on my rado was the OMP Trecento in Suede. It looks a bit motorsport for most but the feel of it was great, light but rigid. Very nice wheel indeed. I drove it 500 miles in one day and my hands felt like they did when I started the journey.
Stonejag 10 Posted March 26, 2013 I've got a polo gt one in mine look's like it was made for the corrado. You're right, that's quite a good match! Probably no stress with the horn push either. Stone

Hofmiester 10 Posted April 14, 2013 I like that, wouldn't look right on the later dash but works with the early one!
