Changed starter motor- now have a spare wire?

Recommended Posts

Hi - I've just swapped the starter motor with a new one from Euro Care Parts, and the new one seems to be missing a spade connector. The wire is yellow with a black trace. It works, and turns the engine over fine, but does anyone know what this wire is for? See attached pic.

Many thanks

Ah, ok, many thanks. Out of interest what was/is it for? My car originally came from Guernsey. It was connected to the old starter motor, but obviously is now not connected. Cheers :)

This thread has removed my concern...thanks.

cant say theres many left over here now, when was it imported from gsy?

Sorry - been away for a week and only just saw your post - the car was registered in the UK 01/10/2001, so the first owner had it for 7 years, the first UK owner had it for 4 years (he had a newborn and his missus didn't think that a Corrado would be a suitable car ^_^) and I've owned it since 06/2005. :)
