alarm for the corrado that will work with the MK4 flip key?

do any of you know what alarm systems will be compatable with the MK4 flip key? i want to make my own flip key for my corrado and make use of the remote unit on the key as well. should a alarm install place be able to program any alarm to the key? let me know.

I think Clifford Alarms work with the VW Key, but I'm not sure if you have re-programme the Alarm to match the key, or the key to match the alarm... :?

I've never come across a system that will operate directly from another remote, although I've installed overlay systems that will arm and dis-arm from OE remote locking.

 

You could try to fit the circuit board of the alarm fob into the flip key i suppose but it'll be a bit hit and miss.
