rmn 0 Posted May 10, 2004 I am wondering what sort of systems people recomend. I have a 92 G60, the exhaust is kinda knackered, so i need a new one I want one that looks fairly standard in size and appearance and one that can be used when hung over 8) ie no serious sounds It is to go onto the G60 downpipw but will be getting a 4 branch shortly. Any suggestions??

g60bv 0 Posted May 11, 2004 go the one of the power flow centers, the quality is excellent the warrente can't be sniffed at they'll fit it and it will probably be cheaper than any after market company, plus if you ask them they can produce performance exhausts which don't sound louder than standard, if thats want you want, highly recommended by me and lots of other forum users. Henny 0 Posted May 11, 2004 Custom made... Best fit ever, and if you find a good place, you can choose how loud it is... ;) 8)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 11, 2004 Call me a boring old fart but I really like the standard exhaust. They flow better than people give them credit for and they last donkey's years. My VR is on the original exhaust and still isn't blowing! Of the aftermarket ones, I really like Supersprint. The quality is superb and the sound is lovely. You get a nice bassy idle that deepens (but not a boxy nova sound) until about 3500 rpm and then it's factory quiet there after.
Red=Fast 0 Posted May 11, 2004 i have a full techtonics set up - header, high flow cat, cat back - and i am quite happy with it. its nice a mellow sounding when you first start the car, but when it warms up it sounds awesome! its not a ricey blender/fart noise. its just great sounding power... =]
