VR6OC - GTI International Club Stand

Recommended Posts

GTI INTERNATIONAL

When: Saturday July 6th - Sunday July 7th

Location: Shakespeare County Raceway, Airfield House, Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 8LL

2013 will see a new beginning for GTI International, at the Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford-upon-Avon, over the weekend of July 6-7.

Organised by Autometrix, publishers of Volkswagen Driver and Audi Driver magazines, and sponsored by the STaSIS Revo Group, their combined efforts will build on the success which the association achieved at last year’s event.

In particular, the new venue offers quarter-mile sprinting at one of Britain’s top drag-racing venues, with its superb track surface, world-class timing equipment and outstanding safety for spectators, with grandstand seating for 3,000.

It won’t be just about the Sprint, though. All the usual attractions of GTI International will be there, with a substantial Trade area, Show ’n’ Shine / Concours and a huge on-site camping area, with a section for those who want more peace and quiet, plus all the other usual attractions.

Nearby Stratford-upon-Avon is one of the country’s great tourist destinations and, alongside the Raceway, you’ll be able to visit a well-established Sunday market.

Best of all is that our arrangements with the Raceway mean that we are able to reduce all the costs of attending GTI International 2013.

Entry on the day will cost £15 instead of £20 and this comes down even further, to £12.50, if you book in advance.

We’ve also brought down the cost of camping. For one night, this will be £35 and, for two nights, £40 (these prices include entry to the show). These prices come down to £29 and £33.50 if you book in advance.

Sprint prices are also down, with a single Sprint run costing just £5 and a ticket for a half day at £15, a full day £25 or a full weekend for just £40.

All of these measures are designed to make GTI International less expensive, safer and even more enjoyable than ever before!

As usual, The VR6OC will be having a club display, please only commit to putting your name forward to go on the club display if you are sure you can 100% make it, poor attendance doesn't look good for the club.

It would be great to see new some faces for this show, and don't worry about the condition of your car either!

You can register for the event by clicking the below links:

If you wish to display your car on the stand both days (camping), please register for both Saturday and Sunday separately.
