seanoVR 0 Posted May 14, 2004 I wish i had my amp fitted like yours. Any idea how it was done and by who?
MBeadell 0 Posted May 21, 2004 Yep, was done by me and didnt take very long at all! just made a cardboard template of the side panel then cut it out of MDF and covered it. Also did the other side and the floor and made it so that it clips under the shelf supports and the floor holds the sides in place so that there is no need to make any fixings in the car so if it need to go back to standard it can. Have also done another with John M (16vG60) which has hatches in the floor to allow access to the spare wheel and other bits & bobs.
MBeadell 0 Posted March 13, 2005 Well been a bit bored lately so decide to take out the rear seats on the c and have a bit of a play. Made it so that there are no new holes in the body as i used all of the original mounting points for the seat etc. Not finished yet as i still need to do all of the tidying up and finishing touches but figured i would see what people thought! NG 0 Posted March 13, 2005 A good job fitting the amp, what u going to do with the sub? leave it free standing? or install it facing the amp ? (on the other side ) or where the spare wheel is?
MBeadell 0 Posted March 13, 2005 Got the box bolted in the middle at the moment, main reason for this being that i can take it out whenever i need the space ( or less weight ), there wasnt really enough space for it on the right hand side and i wanted to keep the spare wheel/jack etc in place as they can be accessed by lifting the boot floor (its hinged at the back )
