Wullie 1 Posted August 3, 2013 Here's something to think about, Feasible or not. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/car-hackers-control-toyota-prius-144420185.html#DAhNvIN
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted August 3, 2013 Sounds like scaremongering to me. It's a daily mail type of story.
Jim 2 Posted August 3, 2013 Quite plausible actually - if you can plug a device into the OBD port, and given that most cars these days have electric steering and drive by wire throttle.. I'd imagine that sort of system is quite easy to implement for someone who knows what they're doing. No chance of a similar sort of system working on our humble old Corrado's though :)
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted August 3, 2013 I don't doubt it may be possible on new cars, but ultimately, what would anyone actually gain from it? All the article does is scare the easily scared and help boost conspiracy theorists.

P3rks 11 Posted August 4, 2013 Forbes set up a demonstration. Obviously the hackers spent hours setting it up, but it shows its plausible.
