stevec14 10 Posted September 3, 2013 Hi All This has probably been asked before but here goes. I have the original badges for the back of my G60 that I would like to put back on. Definately do not want to use badge adhesive(heard it takes paint off) would prefer to use the 3M badge tape(double sided). Has anyone used or done this, and if so what type of tape do you recommend? Thanks Steve
seanl82 23 Posted September 3, 2013 Are there no plastic tabs on the back of the badge that slot through the rear panel and are attached by the blue retaining plugs?
robrado974 1 Posted September 3, 2013 No these are the same as the vr6 badges . I had mine put on with bonding glue .
Jamie 1 Posted September 3, 2013 I've always used double sided body tape for attaching trim etc. Just make sure you give the area a good wipe over with panel wipe and use a heat gun or hair dryer whilst applying.
