Heater Control

Recommended Posts

I'm after a heater control for a late (1994) corrado.

Just like this, but not broken.

It would just be the lower cog that has worn / popped out or snapped, it has the same plastic type runner thing underneath.

You can take the cog out and inspect :)

I'm looking at getting these made up in billet alloy

I'm breaking a VR6 Golf at present and the heater control panel, minus the actual knobs and face plate, is available for spares if you can work out how to dismantle yours. Let me know.

I've pulled it apart and this is the only part that seems to be broken, I'm hoping some glue holds it...but I think that's wishful thinking.

I've managed to repair it with some super glue followed by some Q-Bond, though I've gone a bit overboard with it and the lower metal arm now can't travel all the way, so I'm going to need to grind some of the excess plastic away so it clears it. Seems nice and strong though!
