C without electric windows or adjustable steering?

chrisVR6NOS commented on the fact that my C has neither electric windows (not 'that' uncommon) or an adjustable steering column, and that he thought that was fairly unusual. Anyone else got a total lack of these creature comforts :( or am i the only one?

Adjustable steering column was a £97 option on some models.

Funny, cos a replacement adjustable steering column costs £537 + VAT!!

Its funny, I'm sure i read the elecy sunroof was an option on early cars, so the original owner of mine forked out for one 8) didnt go for the elecy windows though! tight git!

I worked at a VAG garage at launch. Price of the 16V was 17995 I think, definately without leccy windows or sunroof. These options, considered mandatory took it to over 19k. I went on honey moon 4 years later and you could buy a brand new C with leather Air con, leecy windows for $17995 in the States. God that pi$$ed me off at the time.
