lewis1982 0 Posted November 10, 2013 Hi can anyone help? My 95 VR won't start, I went out to it this morning got in turned the key and all that happened is a click. All the lights come on fine. If you keep trying it will start after about 15 attempts. I checked the voltage of the battery and got 12.7v when off and 14.8v when the cars start! Any ideas? seanl82 23 Posted November 10, 2013 Try wriggling the ignition key when it doesn't start. Its a common problem and you can bypass the switch itself to be sure. If you have an aftermarket immobiliser, that could be another possible cause. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
robrado974 1 Posted November 10, 2013 The clicking will probably be the starter motor get stuck , if you give it a tap with a wooden hammer or put the car in gear and rock it it will jog it into life . Either that or ignition switch . Rob Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
